Job Summary

We're seeking a Provisional Psychologist to join our Hunter Team, providing exposure to complex psych claims and opportunities for career development. As a key member of our Psychological Division, you'll work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological disorder, creating and monitoring rehabilitation plans to gradually return them to work.
  • Conduct initial and psychometric assessments, identifying suitable goals and barriers preventing clients from returning to work.
  • Organise appropriate intervention with stakeholders, providing vocational counselling and conducting vocational assessments.
  • Attend medical appointments and structured intervention-based programs with clients, communicating with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment.
  • Facilitate a safe and timely graduated return to work, documenting case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist.
  • Car and valid Driver's license.
  • Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and work autonomously as part of a team.
