About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Marketing Manager to join our team at QinetiQ Limited. As a key member of our Communications Function, you will be responsible for developing and executing proactive, integrated communication strategies and plans for all campaign opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing communications plans to support growing understanding and support amongst all audiences
  • Providing strategic communications advice across all emerging issues and opportunities
  • Writing and editing high-quality content for various communications channels
  • Leading QinetiQ Australia Sector's presence at Tier 1 Events and Exhibitions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to provide strategic advice and support
  • Developing and implementing metrics to evaluate and continuously improve internal communications and engagement strategies

In terms of location, the role can be based in Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, or Brisbane.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and/or related field
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple projects
  • Experience of working in a company that operates across multiple countries, time zones, cultures, and languages
  • Availability to travel domestically on a regular basis
  • Eligibility for Australian Defence security clearance
