Work as a Mental Health Specialist in Queensland


In our community mental health service, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of individuals and families in need. As a specialist mental health worker, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide case management, assessments, and interventions to clients in their homes and communities.
The Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualised care plans.
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to clients and their families to help them navigate the mental health system.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to deliver a range of services including therapy, education, and advocacy.
  • Work with clients to identify and achieve their goals and objectives.

Requirements:


  • A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience working in mental health, preferably in a community setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
