Immediate Start - Senior Financial Accountant Required

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with commercial experience, strong NetSuite skills and available at short notice to join a growing sector on an initial 3-month contract. As Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting key financial processes and working closely with the CFO.

  • Month/Year-end close: Prepare and process accruals, prepayments, and adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Journal entries: Post and review journals with supporting documentation.
  • Balance sheet and bank reconciliations: Identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
  • Financial reporting support: Assist in the preparation of P&L statements and management reports.
  • Audit preparation: Provide accurate financial records to support external audits.
  • Tax compliance: Assist with the preparation and lodgement of BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax and Workers compensation.
  • Process improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within accounting processes.
About You:
  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with 3+ years' experience in an accounting function.
  • Experience using NetSuite is essential.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations and journal postings.
  • Commercial accounting experience in a fast-paced and dynamics environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
