Job Opportunity for Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering design projects for electrical substations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with significant industrial experience in Earthing Design. A Master of Engineering is desirable, as well as knowledge of CAD and 3D CAD software. Holding a CSCS Card and having a full UK Driving license are essential requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technically demanding projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop detailed earthing designs for high voltage electrical substation projects.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to build strong working relationships.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of high voltage earthing design principles.
  • Ability to conduct complex studies like impressed voltage assessments and lightning protection risk assessments.
