Job Title: Caseworker – Recovery Support Services

As a caseworker in our recovery support services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families affected by floods across various local government areas. This role requires trauma-informed, person-centered casework to help communities navigate recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide short-term, flexible case work to support individuals and families affected by floods.
  • Offer triage, assessment, referrals, and community connections to ensure people receive the right support at the right time.
  • Work directly in the community, meeting people where they are, in homes, community hubs, or recovery centers.
  • Collaborate with local services and stakeholders to strengthen recovery pathways.
  • Contribute insights to help shape and improve this service.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Community Services (or related qualification).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with vulnerable or trauma-affected populations.
  • Strong understanding of child protection and culturally responsive practice.
  • Skills in outreach and case coordination.
  • CURRENT NSW Driver's Licence and NSW Working with Children Check.
