About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our Radiology division in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining relationships with key physicians, scientists, and diagnostic providers to ensure that our Radiology portfolio is well-positioned in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain long-term scientific and strategic relationships with key physicians, scientists, and diagnostic providers.
  • Provide scientific expertise and support to our Medical Affairs team to ensure that our Radiology portfolio is well-positioned in the market.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic business plans in consultation with Medical Affairs and cross-functional partners.
  • Implement Medical Affairs strategies at the field level.
  • Drive awareness of our Radiology products and relevant diagnostic modalities through the dissemination and discussion of scientific and clinical data.
  • Answer medical and scientific queries from Medical Societies and HCPs regarding our products in concert with the Medical Information team.
  • Contribute to the organization of advisory boards and medical educational events.
  • Attend congresses and conventions to learn new scientific and clinical data and engage with key opinion leaders.
  • Gather competitive intelligence to inform brand strategy.
  • Plan and organize scientific training and education events with key opinion leaders.
  • Act as a point of contact for investigators and facilitate the interface with investigators and Bayer personnel responsible for approval and communication of study progress and completion.
  • Provide assistance to Medical Advisors and Market Access by supporting presentations of new information to hospital formularies and reimbursement.
Requirements
  • An advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Radiology, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related areas.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or scientific role within the pharmaceutical, medical imaging, biotechnology, or medical device sector.
  • Strong background in radiology, with experience in medical imaging, contrast agents, radiopharmaceuticals, or related fields.
  • Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting scientific data and academic/scientific writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with thorough attention to detail and ability to ensure timely follow-through and closure with key opinion leaders, fellow MSLs, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
