About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Tax Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our investment tax function, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice on investment structures and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic tax advice on complex investment transactions, including due diligence and portfolio management.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess their potential impact on our investments, contributing to industry submissions and internal readiness.
  • Coach and develop team members, driving continuous improvement and innovation in the investment tax function.
  • Lead the delivery of tax research, policy development, and regulatory engagement aligned with our organization's tax strategy.
Requirements
  • Deep expertise in investment tax, with experience across deals, international structures, and superannuation or funds management.
  • Strong technical tax knowledge (Australian and foreign), with the ability to deliver clear, actionable advice.
  • Skilled communicator and negotiator, confident engaging with senior stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and complex deliverables in a high-performance environment.
  • Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce or law, with postgraduate law or accounting credentials highly regarded.
