Financial Accountant Role

Job Summary:
  • The Financial Accountant reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for delivering high-quality general accounting services ensuring timely delivery and compliance with policies.

A few key responsibilities include:

  • Performing financial accounting tasks including journal preparation, month-end GL close, balance sheet reconciliations, management reporting and tax support.
  • Delivering monthly reporting to business partners, including Balance Sheets, reconciliation summaries, and P&L analysis.
  • Preparing reporting packs for property business units where required.
  • Investigating and resolving transactional issues such as misallocations, late adjustments, inter-company mismatches.
  • Performing analysis of P&L to assist with month-end processing.
  • Investigating and resolving internal accounting process or control issues.
Requirements:
  • High-level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to independently problem-solve.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CA/CPA qualified.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial accounting roles for 5 years or more.
