About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on our organization's success. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management, with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing performance, and fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements.
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, price volatility, and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with production planning and inventory control teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

  • A degree level or above qualification in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field.
  • Postgraduate studies and training in purchasing or logistics related field will be beneficial.
  • 10+ years of people management experience.
  • 5+ years managing a technical purchasing & logistics function.
  • Experience managing or working with Production Stock, including processing Production Stock transfers and count journals.
  • Exposure to electronics including PCBAs and other electronic components.
