">Job Description:

We are seeking a Liquor Category Manager to lead the development and implementation of category strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth, improve supplier relationships, and enhance customer satisfaction.


">Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category plans, including setting up new suppliers, managing promotional activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, manage inventory, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Work with the buying team to develop and implement trade plans, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive category sales growth.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of supplier performance, product availability, and other relevant data.

">Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of liquor categories, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in category management, preferably in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment.
