Job Title: Mission And Evangelisation Partner

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team in liturgy, worship, and prayer. This role will inspire faith communities to engage deeply in liturgical practices, lead and participate in genuine faith formation, and seek opportunities for mission.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across parishes and faith communities. The successful candidate will have experience in nurturing the liturgical life of communities, engaging others in collaborative processes, and developing supportive relationships amongst liturgical ministers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate innovative formation practices for all age groups
• Work with the Diocesan Liturgy Council and other groups to address community needs in worship and prayer
• Foster collaboration among faith leaders, volunteers, schools, and other church bodies under the Director of Mission & Evangelisation

Requirements:

• Person of faith with a commitment to the Catholic Church and a passion for formation and mission
• Pastoral experience in nurturing the liturgical life of communities
• Ability to engage others in collaborative processes and develop supportive relationships amongst liturgical ministers
• Commitment to the Catholic faith and organisational and communication skills

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Theology, liturgy, adult faith formation and/or Religious Education, or equivalent qualification
• Current Class C Driver's Licence
• NSW Employee Working with Children Check
