Debt Origination Expert for Project and Structured Finance

Job DescriptionAs a Debt Origination Expert, you will play a critical role in identifying, arranging, and transacting project finance opportunities across various industries. You will work closely with our origination team to develop and manage a pipeline of deals, leveraging your expertise in deal structuring, credit analysis, and negotiation.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including arranging banks, advisors, private equity developers, and funds.
- Evaluating and executing project finance transactions, ensuring alignment with our franchise's strategy and goals.
- Collaborating with our deal teams to negotiate loan documentation, including term sheets, loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, and purchase/sale agreements.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably with a financial background.
- A minimum of 5 years of transactional experience, with at least 2-3 years in the Australian market.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financial data and structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to travel moderately, with occasional domestic and international trips.
We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from $150,000 to $250,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including:
