About this role:

We are seeking a Medical Innovations Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on driving the adoption of surgical techniques and technologies that enhance clinical care.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Generating interest in selected surgical techniques and technologies through various channels.
  2. Identifying and vetting surgeons or candidates for training, ensuring successful product adoption within the surgical community.
  3. Organising and facilitating training courses and workshops in collaboration with local faculty and proctors to enhance proficiency and knowledge of our products.
  4. Developing and managing relationships with local faculty and proctors to strengthen our network, brand and support clinical adoption.
  5. Evaluating and validating all appropriate technologies are available and accessible to surgeons within relevant hospitals in our targeted region.
  6. Attending relevant society and third-party workshops and conferences to enhance our visibility and strategically position our offerings within the market.
  7. Working in conjunction with the wider field team on special projects aimed at driving market adoption and growth across assigned specialties and areas of focus.
  8. Exploring and leveraging various channels within the healthcare sector to raise consumer awareness and promote our innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in healthcare, medical device sales and/or operating theatre environment.
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills.
  • Business acumen with a history of high performance and professionalism.
  • Proven track record of sales and KPI performance achievement.
  • Knowledge of laparoscopic surgical specialties and products.
  • Established relationships within the Operating Theatre landscape of the region.
  • Knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand healthcare systems and dynamics.
  • Passion for, and genuine interest in healthcare with the drive to create positive change.
  • Experience in planning and implementing clinical education and training.
