We're seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Analyst to join our FP&A team, bringing added expertise to drive and significantly influence business plans and performance.

Reporting to our FP&A Manager, you will work across a broad range of responsibilities while business partnering to the wider business where your analysis and recommendations play a pivotal role in driving EssilorLuxottica forward. Engage with our senior leaders, present findings, and recommendations, which offers exposure and the chance to make a tangible impact on high-level decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate structured reports to facilitate comprehensive result-driven discussions.
  • Proactively conduct ad-hoc analyses to delve deeper into favorable or unfavorable trends, acting as a liaison and influencer across our Support Office functions.
  • Monthly oversight and comparison of expenditures against budget, collaborating with cost centre owners to pinpoint risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with financial accountants to comprehend one-time occurrences and changes in balance sheet provisions affecting or potentially affecting the P&L.
  • Assist in the planning and budgeting of P&L segments.
  • Engaging senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of forecasts and effective communication with budget holders.
  • Play a pivotal role in challenging the business to optimize ROI.
  • Continuously monitor investments to ensure alignment with planned ROI.
  • Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements, presenting recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of all audit requests.
  • Provide mentorship and foster the professional development of FP&A Analyst.
  • Offer support to the FP&A Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in Business or Commerce.
  • Post Graduate Qualification (CPA/CIMA/CA).
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Commercial/FP&A: hands-on experience in Commercial or a Financial Planning & Analysis role.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, financial modelling, and creating intricate reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience using SAP, Hyperion, SmartView.
  • Proficiency in conveying financial data effectively to diverse audiences, demonstrating adaptability in communication styles.
  • Prioritisation amidst conflicting deadlines and tasks, adeptly managing competing priorities.
  • Proactive inclination and dedication toward continuously improving processes, actively seeking innovation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
