The Role
PHSA is seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Exercise Physiologist) to deliver assessment, intervention, and case management services to clients across various schemes, including NDIS, Lifetime Care, Workers Compensation, CTP, and Life Insurance.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Conducting single-service assessments, functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, manual handling training, and pre-employment assessments.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements
- Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or workplace rehabilitation setting.
- Current driver's license and motor vehicle.
