We are seeking a talented Senior Legal Counsel to join our Financial Crime Legal team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in shaping NAB's response to financial crime.
Reporting to the Financial Crime Legal Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on financial crime, anti-bribery and corruption, and sanctions laws to NAB Group. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to consider the holistic implications of issues, including customer impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise and legal advice on financial crime, anti-bribery and corruption, and sanctions legal and regulatory matters to NAB Group
- Advise on updates to NAB Group policy and procedure in relation to financial crime, including the NAB Group AML/CTF Program
- Proactively identify legal, regulatory, and reputational risks to the business
- Contribute effectively as a member of the Financial Crime Legal team
