About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Employment Coach, where you'll play a vital role in helping participants overcome career challenges and achieve their employment goals. As part of our dedicated team, you'll have the chance to make a real difference in people's lives and contribute to the success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs, and creating personalised action plans.
  • Conduct career assessments and help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
  • Use sales strategies to work collaboratively and network with community organisations to create opportunities for participants.
  • Assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Refer participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met.
About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, empathetic, and dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. You'll have experience in administration, strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and outlined KPI targets, and the capacity to work in an agile environment.

  • Experience in customer service, client-facing or an administrative role.
  • Time management, organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, develop case plans, and case notes and reports.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills.
