This is a locum GP position that requires the successful candidate to work alongside another doctor to provide services to a primarily elderly and adult population. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 17:00pm, with no on-call requirement.
The multidisciplinary health service offers a range of services, including GP, imaging, allied health, ultrasound, and x-ray services. The successful candidate will be working with Best Practice software and will have the opportunity to complete pre-employment medical assessments and WorkCover for the local mining industry.
The clinic has a high focus on preventative medicine for patients with chronic disease, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of onsite psychologists. The role also requires the successful candidate to cover weekly in 2025.
About the LocationBroken Hill is a large outback mining town with a rich history and culture. The town is surrounded by stunning national parks and has a range of cafes, art galleries, and other attractions.
Essential CriteriaTo be eligible for this role, the successful candidate must have unrestricted AHPRA specialist registration, RACGP fellowship, or equivalent, and full working rights. Prior experience with pre-employment medicals and WorkCover is also required.
