About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pastoral Care Specialist to join our dedicated team at Uniting NSW.ACT. As a Pastoral Care Specialist, you will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our Pastoral Care team, engaging in effective and nurturing relationship management, and maintaining continual professional, personal, and spiritual development.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pastoral care services that meet the needs of our clients.
- Engage in effective communication and relationship management with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Qualifications: One or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent, and relevant pastoral or theological study.
- Experience: Demonstrated understanding of and experience in working with teams across a large, complex organization, and understanding of pastoral and spiritual needs relating to those receiving services.
- Skills: Highly effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including moderate computer skills, and a demonstrated passion for social change and contributing to an organization of influence for the most disadvantaged.
