About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Location Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be responsible for ensuring our brand is well-known in the community, driving results-oriented operations, and providing quality service to our clients while embracing and advocating our company's culture and high service standards.

This position requires building positive relationships with stakeholders, motivating a large team, and providing compassionate care and support to families before, during, and after the funeral. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of professionals to create a workplace where people feel valued, challenged, and proud to be part of the team
  • Managing operations, people, and finance for a high-volume location to deliver profit objectives while maintaining outstanding customer service levels
  • Demonstrating sensitivity to grieving individuals, their values, and beliefs, and communicating effectively with all levels of the public
  • Interpreting the needs of people and clearly communicating options to clients, requiring empathy and excellent communication skills
  • Competent administrative and computing skills, with an eye for detail, and flexibility to participate in after-hour duties, including occasional weekends

  • A deep understanding of funeral services and the importance of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth while controlling costs
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
