Country Cricket Pathway Manager

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of country cricket coaches and support their growth in grassroots and high-performance environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a Country Coach Education & Development Plan, coordinating coaching courses, workshops, and forums, mentoring key country coaches, and overseeing the progression of country talent development programs.

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholder relationships. Experience working with athletes, demonstrated organisational skills, and advanced Community Cricket Coach Accreditation are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a Country Coach Education & Development Plan to support cricket coaches in country areas.
  • Coordinate the delivery of coaching courses, workshops, and forums aimed at improving coaching in grassroots and high-performance environments.
  • Mentor key country coaches to ensure they create supportive learning environments for their players.
  • Oversee the progression of country talent development programs, including those within Country Academies of Sport.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with athletes either within an educational or sporting environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A collaborative working style.
  • Demonstrated cricket coaching experience.
  • Experience in athlete talent identification and development processes.
  • Advanced Community Cricket Coach Accreditation (Desirable).
  • Working with Children Card.
