Alcohol and Drug Treatment Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team providing Alcohol and Drug treatment and support to clients.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practice used in the treatment and prevention of alcohol and other drug dependence.

  • Provide clinical assessments, treatment, and case management services to clients (and their families/carers).
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for clients, families, and friends.
  • Develop, monitor, and implement quality assurance and improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions with complex AOD issues.
  • Knowledge of harm minimisation strategies, pharmacotherapy, consultation liaison services, inpatient and residential pathways, and medical consultation.

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Completed or working towards postgraduate qualifications in AOD.
