About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Forecast Specialist to join our inventory team at Target. As a key member of our planning function, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory levels and achieving financial KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Merchandise Planners to optimize inventory levels and drive financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory forecasts, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inventory management and minimize stock flow constraints.
  • Analyze and communicate risks and opportunities to senior management, influencing decision-making and driving business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to continuously improve inventory management processes.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, demand planning, or a related field, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
