Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering an educational program aligned with the school's aims and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Absorb and apply evidence-based teaching strategies to improve student learning outcomes in their classroom environment.
  2. Develop and implement digital learning technologies into curriculum programs, enhancing student engagement and knowledge retention.
  3. Participate in professional development opportunities and engage in collaborative practice with colleagues to drive student growth and achievement.
  4. Implement the school's values and vision statement, promoting a positive and inclusive learning culture.
  5. Undertake direct teaching, supervision, and other duties as required by the Principal, ensuring seamless delivery of educational programs.
Selection Criteria:
  1. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant curriculum areas, including literacy and numeracy skills, essential for effective teaching and learning.
  2. Experience in planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating student learning growth through data-driven approaches.
  3. Mastery of monitoring and assessing student learning, using data to inform teaching practice and drive improvement.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a supportive learning community.
  5. Behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values and a commitment to ongoing professional learning, ensuring excellence in teaching and leadership.
