Job Title: Construction Project Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and results-driven project manager to oversee and execute complex construction projects from inception to completion.

  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction processes, project planning, and resource management, with the ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • A strong technical background and leadership skills are essential in managing diverse teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will be proactive, with a commitment to operational excellence in every project. They will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure project success while maintaining strong communication and adaptability.

About the Role

As a construction project manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing detailed project plans, ensuring resources are available and timelines are feasible.
  • Budgeting and cost management to keep the project within financial constraints.
  • Contract administration including negotiation and oversight of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Quality control checks to deliver projects that meet all agreed specifications.
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensuring all legal, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly observed.
  • Reporting regularly on the project status to executives and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must possess a US TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a project manager.
  • Project management skills such as time management, project budgeting, resource management, and project scheduling.
  • Preferred Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related area.

This role will be located in Alice Springs at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
