Service Department Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Department Manager to join our team at AUTOrecruit. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet clients, customers, and visitors
  • Answer all incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Take enquiries and service bookings
  • Keep customers up to date with vehicle progress
  • Estimate the cost and time needed to complete a job
  • Liaise with the Workshop Manager to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame
  • Gain authorisation for extra work
  • Help bring new business into the service department
  • Promote the dealership and the Toyota brand
Requirements:
  • High attention to detail
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Exceptional customer service with a pleasant and professional phone manner
  • Sound knowledge of auto mechanics
  • Customer service focused
