As a Survey Technician, you will utilize the proprietary PaveSmart Technology and level control systems to assist in material laying and provide clients with a service that meets depth level requirements, contract level tolerances, and smoothness requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise daily with site supervisors and engineering staff to ensure project progress.
- Communicate regularly with plant operators and site staff to maintain level controls.
- Operate asphalt paving machines using the PaveSmart system.
- Install control networks to support project delivery.
- Survey experience with a focus on asphalt paving.
- Asphalt experience with a strong understanding of paving processes.
- Current driver's license and construction induction card.
- RII and/or VOCs certification (nice to have).
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high reliability.
- Able to work day, night, weekend, and away from home as needed.
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and police check.
