Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled MC Linehaul Drivers to facilitate the efficient transportation of goods across our extensive logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport temperature-sensitive freight to various destinations.
- Ensure timely handling and delivery of company goods.
- Complete necessary pre-start checklists and safety documentation.
- Maintain professional interactions with clients.
- Collaborate with depot teams for effective loading and unloading of freight.
- Operate prime movers configured as B-doubles.
- Document essential safety checks and compliance requirements.
Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience operating B-doubles.
- Valid MC class Licence.
- Familiarity with freight delivery paperwork and internal data systems.
- Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred but not mandatory).
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
- Experience with chilled and frozen freight is advantageous.
- Reliability, punctuality, and effective communication skills.
- A customer-focused approach.
Requirements:
Successful applicants must:
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Provide a current traffic record.
- Be flexible with working hours, including day and night shifts.
