Our ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and motivated Casualty Underwriter with a strong track record of success in the insurance sector.

We are seeking an individual who possesses excellent analytical skills, exceptional communication skills, negotiation skills, collaborative work approach, and proficiency in underwriting tools, industry knowledge, and software systems.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field of business or finance and a proven experience in liability underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough risk assessments of potential clients and policies to ensure that the company is taking on profitable business.
- Regularly analyse your existing portfolio to identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Engage with brokers, clients, and industry professionals to source new business opportunities.
- Develop a strategic underwriting approach that balances risk management with profitability.
- Build strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders to foster loyalty and trust.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, collaborative work approach, and proficiency in underwriting tools, industry knowledge, and software systems.
- Proven experience in the insurance sector, particularly in liability underwriting.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field of business or finance.
