Exact Contracting is seeking an experienced Survey Technician to play a key role in our long-term civil and mining projects in South Australia.
This role will report to the Project Manager and requires the ability to work in hot, dry, and dusty remote locations.
The successful applicant will have a relevant Surveying qualification, experience working in a similar position, and proficiency in relevant software and equipment.
The role will involve:
- Interpreting plans and marking out projects;
- Converting designs for use on survey rover and machine control;
- Working with machine control to optimize precision and time frame;
- Performing periodic surveys to check levels for conformance reporting and project tracking;
- Undertaking as-built surveys for project sign-off and quantity verification;
- Providing timely and accurate surveys for end-of-month reporting;
- Producing clear and concise technical reports;
- Collecting, interpreting, and analyzing survey information as required;
- Project administration (as required).
