About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist to lead our headspace Early Psychosis program in Lutruwita Tasmania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs for young people experiencing early psychosis, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for young people experiencing early psychosis.
  2. Lead clinical services for the headspace Early Psychosis program, ensuring high-quality care and effective service delivery.
  3. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including Tasmanian Health, to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  4. Recruit, train, and supervise medical staff, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
  5. Evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for change.
