Job Overview

This role involves leading a team of security analysts, handling complex personal security clearance processes. We are looking for an experienced individual who can assess clearance cases and leverage their experience in vetting to build the capability within the team.

The successful candidate will have supervisory responsibility for a high-performing team, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex processes. They will also be part of the Quality Assurance process, enforcing stringent quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs) and documenting sound, data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process security clearances meticulously, strictly adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files (PSFs) ensuring their alignment with standard procedures and the PSPF.
  • Effectively manage caseload and execution.
  • C coach, mentor and counsel Analysts and Senior Analysts as well as new team members to help us grow our team.
Requirements
  • Extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments including conducting face-to-face interviews as required by the clearance type.
  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
