About the Role

This strategic position focuses on overseeing and driving business growth through portfolio management. As a seasoned professional, you will play a key role in developing and evaluating business cases, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and commercial rationale.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Portfolio Oversight: Develop, evaluate, and review business initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and robust commercial justification.
  • Value Realisation: Establish frameworks and processes to track and assess actual versus expected benefits of business investments, driving a focus on tangible outcomes.
  • Annual Planning Leadership: Contribute significantly to annual planning processes, ensuring strategic alignment and effective resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders across functions, acting as a trusted advisor on portfolio management best practices.
  • Decision Support: Drive proactive decision-making through high-quality portfolio reporting, providing clear insights and early escalation of risks and delivery concerns.
  • Commercial Acumen: Evaluate business opportunities and ensure optimal capital allocation using strong commercial understanding.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic portfolio management, corporate strategy development, commercial finance, or enterprise PMO function with a strong strategic focus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage and interpret complex financial information.
  • Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of value-based decision-making principles.
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively across diverse functions and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Able to drive results and maintain momentum in fast-paced environments.
