About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Aggreko Generator Rentals in Mount Isa, Queensland.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining our generators and accessories, performing major mechanical interventions, and troubleshooting faults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and maintain generators and accessories to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform major mechanical interventions and overhauls to defined service intervals and standard operating procedures.
  • Carry out intermediate mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics.
  • Ensure completion of minor repairs and major overhauls on time, to standard, and within agreed budgets.
  • Assist, support, and train service crew members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a qualified mechanic with an Australian mechanic's license.
  • Willingness to learn with a can-do attitude.
  • Australian Driver's License.
  • Forklift License an advantage.
  • MR Truck License an advantage.
  • Computer literacy.
