About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Unit team at St Andrew's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including coronary angiogram, PCI, CABG, valve replacement, and TAVI.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the education and development of junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Recent and extensive experience in cardiac nursing, with a focus on person-centred care and clinical education.
  • Proven skills in caring for post coronary angiogram, PCI, CABG, valve replacement, and TAVI patients.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Postgraduate qualification in cardiac nursing (or the desire to work toward them) are highly regarded.
  • AHPRA Registration and unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
