We're seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Carpentry Apprentice to join our team at East Coast Apprenticeships.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working on residential new builds and renovations, focusing on wall and ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, external stairs, laying sub-flooring and floorboards, nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding, door and window frames, measuring materials and carrying out calculations, cutting materials, assembling and nailing, and using a variety of hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct wall and ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, external stairs, and lay sub-flooring and floorboards
  • Nail fascia panels, fit exterior wall cladding, door and window frames
  • Measure materials and carry out calculations, cut materials, assemble and nail
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools
Requirements
  • Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have attention to detail
  • Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A current Drivers' Licence, and have your own reliable transport
  • A White Card or the ability to obtain one ASAP

The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
