Manufacturing Operations Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Assistant to support our daily team activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operations across purchasing, inventory management, production paperwork, and outbound despatch, with a strong focus on accuracy, supply continuity, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating despatch and outbound freight with logistics partners
- Managing purchasing, supplier communication, and procurement planning
- Overseeing inventory control, receipting, and cycle counts
- Completing final quality checks on products before despatch
- Closing work orders and ensuring accurate production paperwork
- Supporting the team, leading by example and resolving any issues constructively
- Daily people support and leadership on the factory floor
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with some experience in procurement, dispatch, and inventory management
- Strong forecasting and planning skills with attention to detail
- Previous leadership or team coordination experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
- LF Forklift license (essential)
