Room Leader Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our team as a Room Leader. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is committed to providing high-quality care and education to children.

The successful candidate will create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. You will:

  • Lead by example by providing high-quality care and education, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Design engaging learning experiences with age-appropriate, creative, and inclusive activities that inspire curiosity and growth.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive space that supports physical and emotional wellbeing and celebrates diversity.
  • Collaborate and mentor: work with team members to foster a strong, supportive team culture.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards it) or an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children in an early education setting.
  • Leadership qualities with a passion for inspiring young minds and nurturing their growth.
  • A current Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification.
  • All required compliance documentation such as Food Safety, Sun Smart, Safe Sleeping, and Child Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • A commitment to ongoing learning, development, and inclusivity in the workplace.
