Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2

Job Description:

As a clinical nurse specialist grade 2, you will utilise your advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality, individualised nursing care. Your role will extend across both inpatient wards and outpatient clinics, ensuring patients receive the very best care at every stage of their journey.

You will play a vital role in supporting and mentoring colleagues, sharing your knowledge to enhance care delivery and outcomes across the service. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based, individualised nursing care to clients of the Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services.

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based, individualised nursing care to clients of the Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Medical Officers, and Aboriginal Health Workers.
  • Act as a role model and clinical resource, supporting and guiding peers and junior staff.
  • Contribute to service development, patient care planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exercise autonomy and professional judgement in clinical decision-making.
