Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Interruption Consultant to join our expanding Claims & Risk team at the Procare Group.
About the Role:
As a Business Interruption Consultant, you will work closely with the Head of BI Services to quantify financial losses and assist with negotiating and settling claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing financial statements and other information to determine the extent of financial losses.
- Preparing detailed loss calculations and models to support claims negotiations.
- Reviewing and interpreting insurance policies to ensure accurate claim assessments.
- Liaising with colleagues, clients, claimants, and their insurance brokers to resolve claims efficiently.
- Writing clear and concise reports to communicate claim outcomes.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 2-4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Advanced excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in Forensic Accounting, Business Interruption, Loss Adjusting, or Claims Preparation.
- Qualified or working towards CA/CPA.
