Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join our team as a Secondary Teacher of Design and Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured teaching activities that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contemporary teaching strategies, curriculum requirements, and the ability to create innovative learning experiences that inspire young people to appreciate design and creativity.

As a member of our teaching staff, you will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching programs, provide support and guidance to students, and contribute to the overall academic excellence of the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for design and technology education
  • Experience in teaching students to work with various materials and technologies
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary WHS procedures and obligations
  • Appropriate qualifications and eligibility to teach in NSW
  • Comprehensive knowledge of effective teaching strategies tailored to student needs
