Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assist healthcare providers in maximizing patient volume and delivering high-quality care.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and organization skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires the ability to prepare patients for visits, administer medications, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and return patient calls in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient preparation, medication administration, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Complete physician orders and facilitate patient care, including phoning prescriptions, scheduling lab tests, and arranging specialist appointments.
  • Provide clear instructions to patients regarding diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments.
  • Process patient referrals efficiently and ensure timely follow-up on specialist reports and test results.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and efficient patient flow.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and maintain confidentiality.
  • Verify accuracy of data collected during procedures and record it in the appropriate systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to regulatory standards and clinical best practices.
  • Perform administrative duties such as greeting patients, registration, scheduling, pre-certification of tests and medications, processing insurance forms, preparing financial records, answering phones, and entering ambulatory care charges.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program.
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through an accredited certification organization.
  • 2 years of experience in a physician's office setting, preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, basic office skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
