Job Description

As a skilled Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Haematology Oncology unit. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and make a real difference in the lives of patients undergoing complex cancer treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for Haematological and Oncological conditions.
  • Assist with patient assessment, treatment administration, symptom management, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Work effectively within a high-pressure environment and maintain a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by promoting open communication, respect, and empathy.

Requirements:

  • Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
  • Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person-centred care.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
