About this role

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium of leading Tier 1 organisations – John Holland, Service Stream, and WSP. Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services across their southern region.

The Quality & Systems Advisor will ensure the quality standards and specifications of the construction product and services are always adhered to. They will assist and support the construction team in meeting the D4C/SW quality requirements for construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess Quality Management Systems of contractors tendering for D4C
  • Implement and drive the Quality Management System, Program, and processes on projects to meet appropriate standards
  • Facilitate continuous improvement to achieve best practice and meet customer needs and compliance on all projects
  • Maintain consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in Quality Management Processes across the South Delivery Team
  • Implement QMS standards, guidelines, processes, and procedures as required
  • Review and endorse internally the Delivery Contractor Quality Plans
  • Lead and manage the Project Change Control process for each project
  • Carry out incident investigations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Identify and document quality system issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Deliver quality training programs as required

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or related field
  • Internal Auditor Training
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Current knowledge of relative legislation
  • Demonstrated customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead change
  • Intermediate Problem solving skills
  • Intermediate analytical skills
