Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in residential aged care.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents to identify their capabilities and develop personalized care plans that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator to design and review programs that enhance residents' independence and quality of life.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to ensure effective implementation of care plans, focusing on delivering high-quality resident outcomes.
- Establish trusting relationships with residents based on dignity and respect, actively listening to their concerns and providing guidance on changing needs.
- Communicate effectively with families, addressing their concerns and referring them to additional support when necessary.

About YouYou must hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist and possess a strong understanding of contemporary Occupational Therapy practices, particularly within the aged care sector.
Your knowledge should extend to the issues and challenges faced in aged care, and you should be passionate about applying your skills in this important field.
