Executive Leadership Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic and complex environment.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the direct management of large teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operating strategically across the business.

You will be responsible for leading ASIC's Finance function, working collaboratively with the business planning and performance reporting team to improve ASIC's reporting framework and deliver insights that support ASIC's work.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead a high performing team
  • Provide strategic leadership of finance operations, including ASIC's unclaimed money responsibilities
  • Drive long-term financial strategy and oversee financial operations
  • Lead statutory financial reporting and the financial framework
  • Promote a high-performance culture and drive financial compliance

Requirements:

  • Proven track record operating at a senior executive level within the public sector
  • Ability to operate strategically across the business and solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to support teams at an operational level
  • Australian citizenship and preparedness to complete an ASIC Suitability and Baseline Assessment
