Job Title: Café All Rounder
Description
Racecourse Café in Ballina is seeking a reliable and friendly café staff member to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy environment, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service — we'd love to hear from you.
We operate Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm, with no nights or weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare drinks using the coffee machine and other kitchen equipment.
  • Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
  • Communicate with the kitchen team about menu items and stock levels.
  • Maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Support the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A welcoming and friendly nature.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good personal and food hygiene habits.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Physically fit and able to be on your feet for long periods.
  • Calm and efficient under pressure.
