Role Overview

This full-time onsite position involves preparing end-to-end business tax and accounting deliverables for clients, including tax returns, financial statements, and Business Activity Statements (BAS). The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of commercial accounting packages, preferably Xero.

We value teamwork and collaboration, with opportunities to work across our network of offices to deliver exceptional client service. This role also requires meeting deadlines and responding to commercial issues for business owners in various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare business tax and accounting deliverables, including tax returns, financial statements, and BAS;
  • Meet with personal tax clients and prepare relevant deliverables;
  • Maintain and work with modern accounting packages such as Xero, Nowinfinity, Ignition, SuiteFiles, and BGL;
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver integrated and exceptional client service;
  • Manage deadlines and respond to commercial issues for business owners across various industries.
Requirements
  • A minimum 1-2 years of experience in public practice;
  • A strong working knowledge of commercial accounting packages, preferably Xero;
  • Intent to obtain CA/CPA qualification;
  • Strong ability to work efficiently and manage workflow and deadlines.
