About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Telecoms Rigger to join our team at HRG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of external telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment, including pole and tower structures, mounting steelwork, RRU's, Antennas/Feeders/hybrids on towers/rooftops, terminating/re-termination of cables, and installation of earthing and labelling following client specifications.
  • Work at heights and follow client specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Interpret technical design documents and install equipment as per design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Work with Telstra, TPG, and Optus (4G/5G) equipment.
  • Maintain, upgrade, and strengthen structures.
  • Perform testing using PIM Tester, Spectrum Analyzer, Sitemaster, Fibrescope, and light source on Fibre cables.
  • Assist Technicians in installation, fault-finding, and rectification of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Telecommunication industry.
  • Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities.
  • Must be permitted to work in Australia.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Australian driver's license.
  • Telstra, Optus, and TPG safety inductions.
  • RADHAZ Awareness.
